I'm a full stack Laravel developer. I build the rules that decide what a system lets you create.

A stream of requests splits into five channels, A to E, each behind a gate, feeding resources on the right. The gate list below gives the same controls.requestsABCD/EA stream of requests splits into five channels, A to E, each behind a gate, feeding resources below. Permit: 3 gatesAvailable: 0 of 3 open

Open a gate to let requests through. The permit allows three at once.

Press a gate on the drawing or in the list. Gates D and E share their final channel. A reconstruction of the rule, not the product.

I've been building Laravel at Insnapsys for 288 days.

What I work on

Most days I write Laravel back ends on PHP and MySQL: the models, the rules around them, and the tests that prove those rules hold.

I have shipped front ends in React and Next.js, so I can carry a feature from the database table to the screen.

Before Insnapsys I built with Python and Django: an AI exam system that extracts questions with Detectron2, and a real-time intruder detection portal. Outside work I am building a public test range for AI browser agents on Cloudflare Workers, and a party game whose phones talk to the host over WebRTC.

The CMDB at Insnapsys

A CMDB is a live map of a company's network and IT: every device, connection and setting is a record. At Insnapsys an AI agent works from that map to handle the first response to network problems, day and night, and hands over to a person with the full story when it needs help.

My part is the rules that decide what can go into the map: whether a customer may create another item, and whose share it counts against.

Built end to end

Licensing

What it does
Caps how many new items a customer can create. At the limit, new ones are refused, but everything already there keeps working.
Why it matters
Customers can move between plans, even to a smaller one, without anything they rely on breaking. The gates at the top of this page run the same rule.

Worked on

Allocations

What it does
Shares capacity out between parts of the system. Each share limits how many items can be created under it.
Why it matters
No single area can use up everything. Try it below: use slots in a service, then move share between services.
Permit: 12 slots1 spare: 11 of 12 shared

Drag a boundary to move share between services. It never drops below the slots in use.

Three services, C1 to C3, behind a routerC1: 2 of 4 slots in useSpace for 2C2: 4 of 4 slots in useFullC3: 1 of 3 slots in useSpace for 2
  • C1: 2 of 4 slots in useSpace for 2
  • C2: 4 of 4 slots in useFull
  • C3: 1 of 3 slots in useSpace for 2

Router set to C1: 2 of 4 slots in use.

Point at a service, or tab to one. Use slots until its share is used.

On a focused service, Enter uses a slot and Delete frees one. A reconstruction of the rule, not the product.

Projects

5 projects so far: one shipped, one in progress, two completed and one planned.

Projects, with status, stack and a one line summary
ProjectStatusStackWhat it is
FinePrintShippedCloudflare Workers, D1, Astro, ReactA public test range where harmless hidden instructions in ordinary-looking pages show whether an AI browser agent can be hijacked. Visitors get a live console, a scorecard and a leaderboard.
Couch ConvoyIn progressWebRTC, Phone motion sensorsA co-op trucking party game. The game runs on a laptop or TV, friends join by QR code, and each phone shows a different role (driver, navigator, mechanic, spotter).
Real-time intruder detectionAugust 2024 to April 2025CompletedPython, Machine learning, CCTVA real-time intruder detection web portal for CCTV, with motion and face detection from machine learning models.
AI chatbot on WhatsAppJuly 2023CompletedOpenAI API, Twilio, ReplitAn OpenAI chatbot on WhatsApp, built on Replit with a Twilio interface for smoother conversations.
Licence and allocation in LaravelPlannedLaravel, PHP, MySQL, PestA public Laravel repository that rebuilds the licence and allocation rules with generic models (Licence, Resource, Allocation), Pest tests and a row lock on the last slot.

Steer the convoy

In progress

In Couch Convoy the driver steers by tilting their phone while three friends navigate, fix and spot. Here your pointer does the steering: move it across the road, or use the arrow keys. Read the design notes
